Fitzroy Lodge and Carney’s Community, a registered charity, gets disadvantaged and excluded young people off the street and away from a life of crime and despair by giving them skills, discipline and self respect.
Our approach is unusual and particularly resource intensive but ultimately effective because we recognise that creating lasting change takes time, hard work and dedication.
Our work reduces offending, re-offending and anti-social behaviour, whilst improving social mobility and community cohesion. Consequently we improve the quality of life for the communities we serve.
Please support our vital work if you can, through fundraising, donating and sharing about us via social media to help raise our profile.
The Variety Children’s Hospital treats and cares for more than 50,000 sick children every year. Children from the local community and all over the world come to our hospital.
Our children’s liver unit is the largest in Europe, and our brain and spine unit treats over 600 children every year.
